A Bevy of Beautiful Brides
I guess I could title this post "A Bouquet of Beautiful Brides", but even I have my corny-ness limits.
We're headed away for some much needed R'n'R tomorrow and the office will be closed until Saturday, July 25th. I've been threatened by my kids with tickle torture if I check email too frequently and since I hate to be tickled, I'm going to try to comply with their demands. You can reach me by phone if it's reeeaallly important: 919.389.7274. Until then, I leave you with some of my favorite recent bridal portraits. Enjoy!
Here's Emily:

Amy made it in twice. Yay, Amy!

So did Erica.

From her Fearless Bridal session.

Angi. Rock that close-up, girlfriend!

Joanna.

Jen.

Stacy.

Kim. I adore bridal portraits in black and white. So classic.

Siobhan. I'm so sad Longview Center is no longer booking weddings. I'll miss those stained-glass windows.

Alysia. I realize that strictly speaking, this is not a bridal portrait since her groom is in it too. But she's the focus.
And it's my blog so I can do whatever I want.

And finally, Brittany. So pretty!

Am I the luckiest photographer ever or what?!?
Peter: On His Way
A few things you should know about Peter:
He just graduated from Enloe High School and is verrrry happy about it.
(He has cool eyes that sometimes look blue and sometimes look green.)

He's headed to Western Carolina in the Fall to begin work on a BFA in Musical Theater.
(When he wins a Tony, you can say you saw him here on Pixel Dust.)

He told me how many plays and musicals he'd been a part of in his short career and I can't even remember how many but it was somewhere close to a bazillion.
(To paraphrase Jon Bon Jovi, "He's seen a million faces and he ROCKED them all!")

It's fun to shoot actors...you don't have to give them much direction. Here's Intense Peter:

The Smart-Alec, Wise-Cracking Side-Kick Peter:

Romantic Lead Peter:

Action-Hero Peter:
(Or Kung-Fu Peter, whatever the role calls for.)

Even Slightly-Scary Peter?

After hanging out with this guy for two hours of shooting, I have no doubt that whatever roles are in his future,
Peter's going to be winning awards and bringing down the house.

Confident Peter.
Just remember, you saw him here first! (And yes, my young friend, I do expect a shout-out when you win an Oscar.
Opening night tickets would be stellar too. I've always wanted to walk the Red Carpet.)
